Copyright and DMCA policy

Last updated: 2026-10-11

01What this policy covers

We respond to notices that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512) and to equivalent notices under other laws.

02Sending a copyright notice

Use the contact form and choose the topic "Copyright notice". Your notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature (an electronic signature is fine).
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
  3. Identification of the material on this site and its URL.
  4. Your contact information.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner.

03Counter-notification

If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notification through the same form with:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material removed and where it appeared.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and phone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the United States, any district where we may be found), and that you will accept service from the person who sent the notice.

We may restore the material after 10 to 14 business days unless the person who sent the notice tells us they have filed a court action.

04False claims

Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.

05Repeat infringers

The site has no user uploads. If material is ever contributed to the site, we will stop accepting material from anyone who repeatedly infringes.

06Forwarding notices

We may forward a notice or counter-notification to the party concerned.
