Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-11

This policy describes what the site actually does with personal data. It is short because the site collects very little.

01Who runs this site

ITSM Compared ("we") publishes itsmcompared.com and decides how personal data on this site is used. You can reach us only through the contact form. There are no user accounts, no payments and no comments, and you can use the fact grid, the calculator and the comparison tools without giving us any personal data.

02What we collect

Contact form. When you send a message we receive your name, email address, the topic you chose and your message. If you send a copyright notice we also receive the work you describe, the address of the material on this site, your two statements and your electronic signature.

Technical data. Our host records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This is used to run the site and keep it secure.

Browser storage. The site does not write anything to cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage. The Cookie Policy has the details.

Google Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. When they load, your IP address and browser details reach Google, which handles them under its own privacy terms.

We do not use analytics, advertising pixels or any other tracking.

03Why we use it and on what legal basis

Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR we rely on legitimate interests to run and secure the site and to answer the messages you send us. Where the law requires consent, we ask for it and you can withdraw it at any time.

04Who receives it

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers that act for us.
  • The provider that delivers contact form messages to us, once the form is connected.
  • Authorities, where the law requires us to disclose information.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

05International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. Israel, where we are based, has an adequacy decision from the European Commission.

06How long we keep it

We keep contact messages for as long as we need to handle them and then delete them. Server logs are kept for a limited period set by our host.

07Your rights

EU and UK. You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to its use, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority.

California (CCPA and CPRA). You can ask to know and to delete or correct personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing, which we do not do. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Israel. You have the rights given by the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, including the right to review and correct information held about you.

To use any of these rights, send a message through the contact form with the topic "Privacy request".

08Children

This site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

09Changes to this policy

If the site starts handling data differently we will update this page and the date at the top.
