FINDER · SEVEN QUESTIONS
ITSM fit finder: which platforms match your team?
IN SHORT
Answer seven questions. Each answer gives weight to the capabilities it makes important and marks some as must-haves; the finder then checks each platform's fact grid. The page opens with an example team's answers; change any answer to see your own result. The rules are written out on the method page.

How does the finder decide?
- Each answer adds weight to the capabilities it makes important, such as a published price or problem management.
- Some answers make a capability a must-have, for example needing a published price or AI agents from day one.
- Each platform earns match points per capability: weight times 2 if Documented, times 1 if Partly, and nothing if Not in our sources. The maximum is every weight times 2.
- A gap is a must-have capability that is Not in our sources for that platform.
- Platforms with fewer gaps come first, then more match points, then name in alphabetical order. Platforms with the same gaps and points are a level match and are shown together.
Questions readers ask
Why is a platform listed under Missing a must-have?
Because one of the capabilities your answers made essential is Not in our sources for it. That means we did not find it on the vendor's pages, not that it cannot be done. Ask the vendor.
Is the first platform the best one?
No. The order shows how closely each platform's documented capabilities match your answers. Platforms in the same group are a level match. Read the profiles before you shortlist.
Does the finder use prices?
Only whether a price is published. Use the ITSM cost calculator for list prices at your team size.
